A lady has taken to social media to demand justice for her friend who she said died after a cosmetic surgeon in Lagos allegedly operated on her.

The Twitter user, who did not disclose her name, on Thursday, alleged that an abroad-trained surgeon failed to attend to her friend despite the deceased’s complaint of bleeding after the butt surgery.

The lady identified the hospital involved as “cynosure Aesthetic Plastic Surgery” while accusing it of negligence.

She said the medical centre only opened up on what transpired after the deceased, identified as Crystabel, was discovered to have been missing for days.

“A friend just died at this hospital in Lagos Nigeria, a few days ago. She underwent surgery. Now I’m not against anybody that wants to enhance their body or anything as such, it’s your choice,” the accuser wrote.

“But I’m against doctors that claim they have experience abroad, come down to Nigeria to kill young people.

“After the surgery, she complained of bleeding and the doctors claimed it’s normal and will stop. Now, this is the problem.”

The accuser also called the federal government to intervene in the matter.

She pleaded that the license of the surgeon involved be withdrawn.

“How are you a highly skilled and professional plastic surgeon with experience abroad and someone you finish operating on, complained about bleeding. You said it’s normal? Neglecting her, no care whatsoever!” she added.

“Are you sick! The most annoying part here is, that this girl died days ago without anybody knowing and the hospital did not find it needful to contact any of her relatives.

“Until the few friends who knew she was going for surgery said she was supposed to have been back for days.

“Now they decided to go to the hospital to check on her; arriving they were offered a letter that her body has been deposited at the mortuary. This is sickening, now I think the government needs to come into this health system.

“And check the capability of most surgeons and make there own research if really they are well-trained surgeons to be able to operate on humans. If not, their license should be seized! Arrest and jailed!”

TheCable Lifestyle reached out to the accused medical centre but it had yet to respond as of the time of this report.
