Kizz Daniel, Nigerian singer, has come under heavy criticism from students of Babcock University for failing to perform at the Freshers Night after paying paid over N3 million.
The event took place on Sunday at the school’s main campus in Ilishan-Remo, Ogun state.
TheCable Lifestyle learned that the ‘One Ticket’ singer arrived at the university campus after the event had been concluded.
Upon his arrival, Daniel explained that his G-Wagon developed a flat tire while en route to the school.
The students, dissatisfied with his explanation, protested and attempted to block his vehicle from leaving the campus unless a refund was given.
According to a student who spoke with TheCable Lifestyle, the singer has not yet made a refund.
“Yesterday, he delayed students and later arrived around 9pm. People had to go back to their hostels but I didn’t go back. He stayed in the guest house,” the student said.
“This morning, the social committee went to meet and him. He told them that he is going to collect his money saying that what is N3 million and N3 million is small money.”
Many undergraduates of the institution have expressed their displeasure with the singer on social media.
