The reality TV star, in an episode of ‘The Ellen Show’, said the show needed new people who would see them from different perspectives.

She pointed out that the former production team had been with them for fifteen years.

Kardashian said the KUWTK show will now be known as ‘The Kardashians’.

The 41-year-old, while sharing the new changes, added that it would be more of a documentary-style production.

“Imagine people who have been in your lives for fifteen years shooting every single move. They’ve kept all of our secrets and private stuff,” Kardashian said.

“So it was really nerve-wracking to change to another production company. We wanted it to be a little bit different and we trusted in that.

“The other production team is like family to us, so they know us so well. So we thought ‘what if there was like new energy? That could come in and see us from a different perspective?’

“I think the viewers are gonna love it. It’s like way more documentary style and it feels very current and newsy.”

In 2020, Kim announced the family’s decision to end the production of the KUWTK franchise.

The show, which focused on the personal and professional lives of the Kardashian–Jenner blended family, spanned over 15 years and made its stars famous.
