Reality TV star Kim Kardashian has kicked off her career as a beauty entrepreneur with a bang.
Her new cosmetics company, KKW Beauty, which she announced at Forbes’ Women’s Summit, has made $14.4 million in the first few hours of its products being on sale.
The new makeup line includes crème contour and highlight kits, which can be used to achieve the contour look often seen on the Kardashian-Jenner clan.
KKW Beauty’s first product: a line of contour kits, went on sale for $48 plus shipping on Wednesday.
Within minutes, some shades of the contour kits sold out. Hours later, everything on stock had been sold.

According to Women’s Wear Daily, KKW Beauty sold at least 300,000 products – which is an estimated $14.4 million.
Selling out new products within a day is not new to the Kardashian-Jenner clan.
Kylie Jenner, who first made the foray into beauty products, often sells out products from Kyle Cosmetics in just minutes.
But Kardashian-West is the richest and most bankable of the lot.
According to Forbes, Kardashian earned $45.5 million last year alone — ranking 47th on the list of the 100 highest-earning celebrities.
