American rapper, Kanye West, and his reality television star wife, Kim Kardashian, have revealed the name of their third child to be Chicago.

Kim shared the name of the baby girl on her app on Friday.

She then tweeted, “North, Saint & Chi.”

The celebrity couple’s newborn joins four-year-old North and two-year-old Saint as the youngest West sibling and latest addition to the Kardashian family.

The couple used a surrogate for their child with both mom and dad in the delivery room.

Kardashian was reportedly the first to have skin-to-skin contact with the baby.

Kim and Kanye reportedly agreed to pay the surrogate $45,000 in monthly installments of $4,500.

It is unclear how Kim and Kanye decided on the newborn’s name but the rapper is famed for his Chicago roots.

North had wanted the baby’s name to be Star West, but Kim wasn’t “vibing on it.” She told Ellen Degeneres, “I do like different names—but short, easy to spell, one syllable. That’s kind of my vibe”.
