Kemi Adetiba, the Nigerian filmmaker, says she has commenced the pre-production for the third installment of her hit movie ‘King of Boys‘ (KOB).
In a recent Instagram post, Adetiba disclosed that new characters will make their debut while familiar faces will also return for the upcoming movie.
In the post, the 44-year-old expressed her excitement about the project, highlighting the continuation of the ‘King of Boys’ legacy.
The movie producer titled the upcoming sequel ‘The Beginning of the End’ while asking fans “what they would like to see”.
“New characters getting introduced, and a few old ones returning… But the KOB impact remains the same,” she wrote.
“Actually, scratch that. The new KOB submission is elevated in every way you could imagine… And I’m honored to be able to come back to tell this story.
“KOB 3 – “The Beginning of the End” Pre-production is officially on for KOB 3,.. and I’m so excited to start making the calls to new and some old cast and the crew needed to bring this ambitious vision to life.
“Make sure phones are on charge, so you don’t miss a call 👀 And I can’t wait to see you on set.

Last year, Adetiba revealed that Seun Kuti would star in KOB 3 after sharing a picture of herself, Sola Sobowale, and the Afrobeat singer.
‘King of Boys 1’ debuted in 2018 and has gained widespread reception since then.
The movie tells the story of a businesswoman entangled in a power tussle and trust game that eventually threatened everything around her on account of her growing political ambition.
In 2021, Adetiba put out the first sequel, titled ‘King Of Boys: The Return of The King’.
KOB II saw the return of cast members like Sobowale and Toni Tones. It started with Sobowale’s triumphant comeback after a five-year exile.
However, her shocking comeback rattles the cage of her enemies — both old and new. Once-trusted allies deserted her at her most vulnerable moment, all while she faced a greater battle within herself for the redemption of her tortured soul.
