Kim Kardashian, the media personality, says she and Kanye West, the US rapper, “will always be family” despite their divorce.
Kim, 41, filed for divorce from the musician in February 2021 — after seven years of marriage.
They share four kids together — North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2.
Since their union crashed, West had consistently launched verbal attacks at Kim and Pete Davidson, her new lover.
In an interview with ABC, the entrepreneur lamented the controversies that have been trailing her failed marriage to the rapper.
The model and socialite, however, said for the sake of their four kids, they have managed to sustain communication to keep them “healthy and happy”.
“You have to just be there for them. No matter what, even in this crazy life that we live, you just have to have a really open dialogue with your children,” she said.
“Kanye and I have had conversations. We have to talk daily for the kids so you know, I hate that it had to play out like that. But when it comes to family, I mean, Kanye and I will always be family.
“At the end of the day, I just want my kids to be happy and healthy, and think the world of their dad. And they do.”
