The 41-year-old took to her Instagram page on Tuesday to break the sad news.

Although she didn’t reveal details of his demise, Kaffy shared a picture of a lighted candle with a dark background — a symbol normally associated with grief.

The development comes a few hours after the award-winning dancer narrated her near-death experience after she had taken a medication that almost took her life.

In the post shared on her Instagram page on Monday, Kaffy said she took some medication that made her system inactive because they triggered allergies she never realised she had.

“Lungs collapsing. Eyes changing colour. Belly swelling. Taking a breath feels like I was slipping into a dangerous sleep. But mercy said no,” she had written.

“Thank you God for another chance. A lot don’t make it through these avoidable deaths. I am not better than them, I am grateful for your mercy, not today Satan, said the lord.

“Be careful some medication can be lethargic to your system, there are allergies we might not know of. God protects you all.”

On May 25, 2020, the choreographer had lost her mother at the age of 82.

“Mama has gone to Rest! #82,” she had posted on Instagram alongside a video where her late mother can be seen flaunting some beautiful dance steps.
