The ace singer was arrested by the police on Monday night at Sag Harbor, on the eastern end of Long Island, for allegedly driving under the influence (DUI).

Timberlake was arraigned on Tuesday and charged with one count of driving while intoxicated along with citations for failure to keep right and failure to stop at a stop sign.

He was, however, released without bail on Tuesday after being formally charged. He is scheduled to appear virtually in court on July 26.

Burke added that he wants to see what prosecutors have on his client.

“[We] look forward to vigorously defending Mr. Timberlake against these allegations. He will have a lot to say at the appropriate time,” he said.
