Justin Bieber, a Canadian singer, has taken to social media to celebrate Hailey Baldwin, his wife, on his 26th birthday.
In a lovely post on his Instagram page, the award-winning singer described Hailey as his ‘”birthday gift”.
“You are my birthday gift bubba,” he wrote, alongside a picture of the two sharing a kiss.
In a similar manner, Hailey penned a romantic message to the Canadian musician with a picture of the two lovebirds also sharing a passionate kiss.
“Happy birthday best friend. thank you for putting a smile on my face every single day.. I love you,” she wrote on her Instagram page.
The 26-year-old remarried Hailey last year — after the couple earlier had a secret wedding.
In an interview with Ellen DeGeneres in January, Bieber had disclosed that he once felt “nervous” proposing to his wife.
This, he explained, was due to fears of not being committed enough in the relationship as expected of him.
“I was extremely nervous [when I proposed to her],” he said.
“I felt like in the past, we talked about you know, me asking the question, and I felt like she would say ‘yes,’ so I wasn’t really nervous about the saying yes, but I think I was more nervous about ‘am I gonna make this commitment?
“Am I able to make this commitment as a man and be able to honor, you know, what I say, you know because that’s a serious commitment, when you say you’re gonna love someone for better or for worse and like, be faithful.
“That’s huge. Am I able to do that?’ And so I think that was really what I was battling with. And I finally was like, ‘You know what? I’m gonna make the decision and follow through with it. Be a husband, and you know, this is what I’ve always wanted. I’m gonna just choose this woman and just do it.'”
Rising to spotlight at the young age of 13, Bieber has etched his name as one of the most decorated celebrities across the globe.
He has however, endured some rough moments, too, including battling with Lyme disease and effects of past drug abuse.
