No matter how much a couple may be in love and trust one another when it comes to operating a joint bank account, things could get really dicey.
A joint bank account is one owned by two or more people.
All parties involved have access to withdraw from and deposit in the account at their discretion.
In a marriage or union of some sort, a joint account can foster a closer relationship between partners and make it easier for them to manage their finances, but it also comes with the risk of money squabbles.
While some people feel it is not out of place to share an account with their partner, others cannot bear the thought of it.
