Johnny Drille says he would love to record a song with Small Doctor, a street hop artiste popular for his 2017 single, ‘Penalty’.
In an interview with TheCable Lifestyle, the folk singer born John Ighodaro said he would reach out to him for a potential collaboration.
“I wish to work with Brymo, I wish to work with Simi, and of course I would love to work with my label mates, Adekunle Gold,” the Mavin artiste said.
“Internationally, I would like to work with Ed Sheeran, and there is other new girl I discovered, her name is Aisha Pedro. She is Nigerian but is not based in Nigeria.
“It would be lovely to see what I can pull up with Lil Kesh, Reminisce or Small Doctor. I think Small Doctor would be really interesting. I would love to reach out to him.
“I would like to make music with Small Doctor, but if he reaches out to me first, it would be interesting to merge both fan base because he has this huge street fan base. It would be nice to see what we can do together.”
Johnny Drille, who was a contestant on MTN Project Fame in 2013, said he has no special routine for maintaining his voice.
“I hear people say don’t drink cold water, swallow banana without chewing and all sorts,” he said.
“I don’t do all those things. The only thing I can say I do is not stress my voice too much by not talking too much.”
