Johnny Drille has given out his direct phone number in public to receive calls from fans.
In the spirit of his emotive single ‘How Are You My Friend‘, the singer shared his phone number via Instagram.
He said he’s looking to take calls from fans in a conversation intended to ask after their wellbeing generally.
“From 11 pm tonight to about midnight, I’ll be ready to take your calls again. This time, we’ll try to keep each call as brief as, possible so more people can get a chance,” the Mavin Records-signed singer wrote.
“But please feel free to share anything with me. I promise I’ll be able ears.”
Johnny Drille has always maintained a cordial relationship with fans and listeners of his music.
In 2021, he asked fans to send him letters via email about their relationship troubles to which he responded.
Drille started his musical journey when he featured in the sixth season of Project Fame West Africa in 2013.
In 2015, he came through with a cover of ‘Awww’ by Dija, the Nigerian singer, who later became a label mate.
His unique sound caught the attention of Don Jazzy, CEO of Mavin Records, and he signed in 2017.
The 32-year-old singer has since then released numerous singles that became successful with massive reception.
