Jide Kosoko, the ace Nollywood actor, has paid tributes to Henrietta, his late wife, on her 6th death anniversary.
The movie star took to his Instagram page on Tuesday to share a video of an old interview where his late wife was trying to explain the meaning of her Urhobo name.
The 68-year-old also prayed that she continues to “rest on” while appreciating God for granting him the fortitude to bear her loss for six years.
“Keep resting dear Henrietta Emumejiakpo. Olorun lo mo ohun gbogbo, ohun na lo nse ohun gbogbo,” he wrote in a mixture of Yoruba and English language.
“All glory belongs to Almighty God, it’s 6 years now. Rest on, we are coping in Christ.”
Bidemi Kosoko, the couple’s daughter who is also an actress, penned a tribute to her late mum via an Instagram post.
“It’s been 6 years already sweet mama. We miss you so much. Keep resting omo odudukudu,” she wrote.
Henrietta was also an actress before she died in 2016 — a few days after her 53rd birthday.
She was reported to have slumped in her house and was rushed to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
The TV star was battling with diabetes before her death.
