Mbong, who is also an ex-beauty queen, was married to Jeta for five years before their marriage crashed in 2013.

On Thursday, Jeta took to Instagram to point out that his ex hadn’t been in contact with their daughter for a while.

“Can somebody please just ask why Mbong has gone missing from social media all year? No one seems to know anything and it’s affecting my daughter, that no one would tell us,” the filmmaker wrote.

“She wants to see her mother. If she is not well, Veno wants to go and be by her side and we need to know to stop worrying.”

A look at Mbong’s Instagram page showed that the last time the actress put out a post was 21 weeks ago (January 17).

Growing up in the film industry, Jeta produced and directed his first film at the age of 21.

His work first went global when he produced a documentary for BBC in 2003, using his film ‘Game of Life’ as footage for the documentary.

Mbong, on the other hand, has acted in films such as ‘Black November’, ‘Forgetting June’, and ‘Inale’. She won the ‘Most Beautiful Girl’ (Akwa Ibom) in 2003 and was the 2nd runner up in the 2004 Miss Nigeria.
