Yushau Dogara Ahmed, the NYSC DG, reiterated his commitment to working with Ishaq Oloyede, when he received the JAMB registrar and his management team in his office at the NYSC headquarters in Maitama, Abuja

Ahmed said the collaboration is targeted at achieving a credible and seamless mobilization process.

He said the partnership between the two organisations has come a long way and must continue “in the interest of national development”.

In his address, Oloyede said JAMB is conscious of its partnership with the NYSC.

The registrar asked that both organisations be proactive to ensure no “unscrupulous persons” infiltrate the JAMB database and NYSC’s mobilization process.

He requested that the scheme add the course of study and name of institutions attended on the NYSC registration portal for prospective corps members.

The JAMB registrar also revealed that the board would provide its list of registered candidates for NYSC.

Oloyede said this is to harmonise and fish out unqualified candidates who may “fraudulently present themselves” for mobilisation for the NYSC scheme.
