While staging a performance at Las Vegas on Friday night, the music superstar hinted that the new album will be released next year.

In a less-than one minute video, the ‘KOD’ rapper also aimed a shot at the forthcoming US general elections, slated for November 3, 2020.

The video, which showed footage of security operatives, lawmakers and people demonstrating, was laced with a sober tone, in which the narrator painted a gloomy picture of America.

The ‘Middle Child’ rhymer seemed to be sensitizing the American voters on the need to vote for the right candidate at the country’s forthcoming elections.

“It seems like shit is all f*ucked up. The country needs a hero…J. Cole is that hero. A man whose humility knows no bounds,” the narrator said.

“A man whose pen is so potent, each word of his verses reportedly cost $2,000. We need someone with big ideas and bold solutions. An expert in diplomacy. A candidate that can heal the inter-generational war. Lower taxes? How about f*uck them taxes.

“There’s only one answer, one true unifier to our country. Make your votes heard and vote for The Fall Off in 2020.”

This is not the first time the rapper would be critical about the happenings in US.

‘KOD’, his fifth studio album, was mostly characterized by powerful verses which often dwell on societal issues such as taxation, abuse of power, addiction, among others.

Some months ago, the award-winning rapper also announced his decision to quit features.

“This is the last feature you’ll hear from me. Thank you to everybody I got to work with during this run,” he had written.
