Iyanya Mbuk says the allegations made by Yvonne Nelson against him almost ruined his current relationship.
The singer dated Nelson, the Ghanaian actress, in 2012 but their relationship crashed in 2015.
In June, the actress released an eponymous memoir in which she detailed her relationship with Iyanya.
She claimed the relationship ended because the singer cheated on her with Tonto Dikeh, a fellow actress.
In a recent interview on the Tea with Tay podcast, Iyanya said the information in the book has also made it hard for him to settle down with any woman.

“That stuff is just crazy you know. That stuff almost made me lose a relationship,” he said.
“You guys need to help me, I am not going to answer the question but I am going to ask you guys for help.
“The help I need is you guys should help me settle down, you are not helping me when you people are posting this Yvonne cheating thing.
“It is hard for me because of the book. I was talking to one innocent girl, she is not famous, immediately that book came she is feeling like ‘omo this guy, have you changed. Are you sure you will not do me the same?
“I did not read the book but I am just like everybody thinks that I enjoy breaking people’s hearts. If you do your research, I never came out to say I was dating anybody.
“It was always the people coming out to say I broke their heart, but if you think about it, if I was not Iyanya, I am not sure it would have been so loud.”
