2Baba, the ace Nigerian singer, has declared an end to his previous pattern of having children with multiple partners.
The artiste spoke during his performance at MC EdoPickin’s show in Benin City, using the platform to confront widespread public interest and online speculation about his personal life.
“I have a confession to make, I have been making this confession everywhere I go now. I have stopped impregnating women anyhow, I have stopped. Ask anybody now, and they will tell you I am innocent. I said I was going to tell everyone, so I am also telling you people in Benin because you all are my inlaws now by…,” he said.
He further addressed the ongoing scrutiny of his relationship with his wife Natasha Osawaru.
“I would not entertain all these internet people here. Natasha and I have given you two years worth of content. There is no need to talk too much.”
The singer had previously been in relationships with Pero Adeniyi and Sumbo Ajala-Adeoye.
While Adeniyi has three children for 2Baba, Sumbo shares two kids with the singer.
He also has two daughters with his estranged wife Annie Macaulay. Reports also suggest that he and Natasha recently welcomed their first child.
2Baba’s remarks follow months of highly publicised controversy between him and Natasha.
The saga erupted when two of the singer’s former managers accused Osawaru of attempting to seize “full control” over 2Baba’s finances and career during a live stream hosted by Daddy Freeze.
The situation took a dramatic turn when 2Baba joined the broadcast, demanding his ex-managers stop discussing his private life.
However, shortly after his intervention, a loud argument between him and Natasha became audible off-camera. Their voices grew increasingly heated before the live broadcast was abruptly ended.
