Wisdom Macaulay, the brother of Nollywood actress Annie Idibia, says he’s yet to hear from his sister ever since he apologised for the allegations he made against her.

Wisdom had expressed remorse for accusing Annie of enslaving him, denying him his “dues”, and introducing him to hard drugs.

“I want to use this opportunity to apologise to my sister Annie, her husband, and the entire Idibia family. I also want to apologise to my mother, wife, and in-inlaws. I’m sorry for the outburst that occurred days back,” he had said.

“I reach out to Annie’s colleagues in the industry to help me beg Annie to find it in her heart to forgive me. She is not on drugs. I have never seen it with her. I’m not on drugs either. I’ve been depressed for a long time now.”

Sharing an update on the issue on Sunday, Wisdom said he has received job offers since he made the controversial video.

Wisdom said although his sister is yet to reach out to him, he has decided to move on with his life.

“Hello world, hello Nigerians. I want to use this opportunity to thank everyone out there, who reached out to me through DMs and calls. I want to thank you specially for the prayers, well-wishes and all constructive criticisms,” he said in a video posted on his Instagram page.

“I read all the messages and comments, trust me I have been taking everything them in. I also want to add that this recent week I have gotten job offers to produce skits and manage an upcoming artist. All of these won’t have been possible without your love and support.

“Also, last week I sent out a message apologising to the Idibias, my sister especially. Up till now, I haven’t heard from her, I haven’t gotten any phone calls or messages. But I’m moving forward and going ahead.”
