Wisdom Macaulay, the brother of Annie Idibia, the actress, has apologised for his recent outburst.

Earlier, Wisdom had accused Annie of enslaving him, denying him his “dues”, and introducing him to hard drugs.

“I have been working with my sister for some time but she would never pay me my dues,” Wisdom had added.

“She would rather send me N20,000 or N30,000; turn me to her slave. She can decide when she is angry to end it.

“Some weeks back, her husband sent me some money that I have been begging him for years.

“The money wasn’t so much but I used it to settle my home. I have a wife from Imo state and I am yet to pay her bride price because I don’t have money.”

In a follow-up video posted via his Instagram page on Saturday, Wisdom begged Annie to forgive him.

He admitted that neither he nor his sister does hard drugs, adding he made the claims from a place of depression.

“I want to use this opportunity to apologise to my sister Annie, her husband, and the entire Idibia family. I also want to apologise to my mother, wife, and in-inlaws. I’m sorry for the outburst that occurred days back,” he said.

“I reach out to Annie’s colleagues in the industry to help me beg Annie to find it in her heart to forgive me. She is not on drugs. I have never seen it with her. I’m not on drugs either. I’ve been depressed for a long time now.

“I’ve realised that the route I took was not the right one. It was a lot to see your source of income is taken away. It is what led me to lay false allegations against my family members. I’m a movie producer and fashion designer.

“I beg meaningful Nigerians and others who want to give me a chance to establish myself and stand as a man. You can reach out to me. I’m deeply sorry. My sister and I are not on drugs. It came from a bad place. I apologise.”
