Hillary Clinton, the Democratic party candidate, had invited Beyonce and Jay Z, among other music stars, to her Cleveland campaign rally/concert, hence Trump’s swipe.

Trump, who’s rallying in Pennsylvania, boasted of his crowd-pulling abilities to the 11,000 estimated people at the hockey arena.

“We are gonna win Pennsylvania big. I hear we set a new record for this building, and by the way, I didn’t have to bring J-Lo or Jay Z. I am here all by myself, just me; no guitar, no piano, no nothing.

“But you know what we do have? And it’s all of us. It’s all the same. We have great ideas and great vision for our country,” the Republican candidate said.

The U.S. presidential election of 2016 is slated for Tuesday, November 8, 2016.

Jay Z, an American hip-hop mogul, had earlier noted that Trump can’t be president because “his conversation is divisive“.
