Jude Okoye, the elder sibling and former manager of Psquare, the music duo, says he is done trying to resolve the feud between the twin brothers Peter and Paul Okoye.
The rift between Peter and Paul, which began in 2017, led the brothers to split their group Psquare to pursue solo careers.
Though they reunited in November 2021, their reconciliation was short-lived.
Recently, Paul revealed another fallout, accusing Peter of orchestrating his arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Peter denied the allegations and accused Jude of siphoning millions of dollars from their joint account into a secret company.
The public row has disheartened fans, with many asking Jude to mediate between his brothers rather than take sides.
In a recent Instagram Live session, Jude expressed frustration at being repeatedly dragged into his brothers’ dispute.
He claimed to have exhausted all options, including “sacrificing himself”, in trying to mend the Psquare rift.
He also urged them to take it upon themselves to resolve their issues.
“These people [Peter and Paul] have children that are teenagers. If they were in America, they would be grandfathers now,” Jude said.
“Why is it that Peter always involved me in their fight?
“It is because he had that impression that people always called Jude, the elder one, [to say] ‘go and settle your brothers, go and put your family in order’.
“What do you mean by go and put your family in order? My family is in order. Let them put their family in order.
“If they are doing business together, let them put it in order. I have tried to the point I sacrificed myself.”
