‘I’ll fish you out if you talk about my family’ — Reminisce warns trolls

Remilekun Safaru, the Nigerian rapper better known as Reminisce, has warned social media trolls against chasing clout with his family.

The warning came after a user commented on Reminisce’s recent tweet on X, asking if the rapper had made the post because he had just received the results of a DNA test.

“Hope no be DNA result you check,” the user wrote.

In response, the rapper said he would not tolerate anyone using his family to chase clout on social media.

He added that he would “fish out” anyone who did so, even if they tried to hide behind any form of anonymity.

“All fun and games, but no use my family find ‘banger tweet’ I will fish you out! and believe me … hashtags won’t help! Mo ma wo inu e Jade bi Idun ni! Ti a ban sunkun,” he wrote.

Reminisce has continued to enjoy fame since his foray into the music landscape in 2006.

He became popular after the release of ‘Ever since’ and ‘If Only’, his first and second singles respectively.

The rapper is also famous for his acting skills, having starred in the Kemi Adetiba-directed action drama, ‘King of Boys‘.

He has also received several accolades for his talent.
