Kayvee was on Monday the cynosure of all eyes after he exited the reality show over health issues — barely less than two weeks after he joined the ‘Sha Ya Eye’ house.

His withdrawal had come against the backdrop of his strange and erratic behaviour which raised concerns among other housemates and fans of the show.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday, Kayvee admitted to suffering “debilitating anxiety” on the show which he said took a toll on his mental health.

The reality TV star said he underestimated the effect of isolation on his mental health and attempted to integrate with other housemates.

Kayvee also disclosed that he is currently receiving treatment at an undisclosed medical facility while appreciating those who stood by him.

“I underestimated the effects isolation would have on my mental health and integrating with the other housemates,” he wrote.

“Certain events that happened in quick succession escalated the anxiety I felt and impacted my being the jovial, energetic, and fun person I am.

“Since my withdrawal from the house, I have reconnected with my family, and I’m currently in a medical facility, working through the debilitating anxiety I felt. I covet your love and prayers. “

His fans had earlier launched a fundraising campaign to support his brand after his exit from the show.
