Nick Cannon, the American TV host, has opened up about his decision to have 12 children.
In a podcast interview, the media personality said, in 2012, he wouldn’t have imagined having such a large family.
Cannon already had 11 children with six different women before adding another in December 2022.
He and Mariah Carey, his ex-wife, gave birth to Monroe and Moroccan, twin children, about 11 years ago.
He also welcomed Golden in 2017, Powerful in 2020, and Rise in 2021, with Britany Bell, the US model.
The entertainer had Zion and Zillion, another set of twins, with Abby De La Rosa, a disc jockey, in June 2021.
Nick Cannon welcomed Zen, who was his seventh child, with Alyssa Scott, an American model, on June 23, 2021.
The entertainer also had another child in 2022 with another of his love interest Breana Tiesi.
The TV host also has a young baby daughter with Lanisha Cole, another American model.
Cannon, in his latest interview, said he heard that he would become a “father to many”.
He said he was also made to believe that his “offspring would do great things”.
Cannon added that the revelation influenced his decision to have more kids.
“In those moments of communing with the spirit, It’s almost like when you have these manifestations, I’m like oh it all makes sense now,” Cannon said.
“‘I heard you’re going to be a father of many, you’re a great influence, your lineage, your offsprings are going to do great things.’
“I heard that and I’m like oh well the more the merrier.”
