Phyna, the winner of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) season seven, has reflected on her behavior since winning the reality TV show.
In October 2022, Phyna was declared the winner of the BBNaija ‘Level Up’ edition. She defeated more than 20 housemates for the N100 million grand prize.
In a recent video, the reality TV star said the last six months have been a period of “training” for her.
Born Josephina Otabor, Phyna said it was not also a period she is proud of.
The reality star apologised to her fans, adding that she has “worked on myself” and knows “how I’m supposed to behave.”
“It’s been six months since I won the show Big Brother Naija season seven,” she said.
“For the past six months, a lot of things have gone down, a lot has gone up, many things have happened. So, I want to use this medium to say I’m really sorry.
“I have really offended a lot of people for the past six months and I wish to let you know that I have gone through a lot of training on how to be now.
“I believe we should all understand that someone with a background as mine bagging fame and money all of a sudden will need time.
“So, I’ve gotten the time of six months and now I feel I’m ready to be out there because the past six months was not a period I would say I’m proud of.
“I’ve literally worked on myself and I think I’m good to go now. I can now say I have six months’ experience of fame and now I know how it works and I know how I’m supposed to behave.
“So, I’m sorry to everybody that felt offended by my loudness or the way I talk. I’m really sorry.”
