Ekenedilichukwu Ijemba, better known by his stage name Humble Smith, says he sketches all his outfits.
Speaking with TheCable Lifestyle at the premiere of ‘Alter Ego,’ the singer said he comes up with his designs before giving to his stylist, La Crown.
“I sketch, whatever I wear, I sketch,” he said.
When asked if he intends to set up a fashion outfit at some point in his career, Humblesmith added: “Yes, I have that in mind, but I am not thinking about that now.”
After enjoying mainstream success with ‘Osinachi,’ the singer said he’s working on the video for a new song entitled ‘Focus’.
“My song, ‘Focus’ is out and we have been doing good. I just shot the video last week Sunday,” he said. “It is coming out very soon, it is shot by Clarence Peters. Fans should watch out for that. Apart from that, my album is also coming out soon.”
Humblesmith however said that there is no fixed date for the release of his debut album.
“No date yet, just watch out for it. Nothing is delaying it; you know we have to keep you guys focused first, before the album drops, so that is the focus.
“Don’t be in a hurry, I will tell you,” he said.
On his short-term goals in the industry, Humblesmith said: “I have this target though, but it sounds crazy sometimes. I say to myself that I am going to break Michael Jackson’s record.”
The singer failed to state what specific record of the late king of pop he yearns to break.
