Every year, several countries around the world mark Valentine’s Day — a unique moment when people celebrate themselves and show love to those around them.
Just like everyone, several Nigerian celebrities also took to their social media pages to commemorate the occasion with lovely photos and beautiful write-ups.

Mercy Johnson
Mercy Johnson, Nollywood actress, joined Odianosen Okojie, her husband, to celebrate this year’s Valentine’s Day in a beautiful way.
The movie star shared a short video of herself, her husband as well as their four kids having fun.
“Can somebody help me beg Purity? Happy Val team,” she wrote in a terse post accompanying the video.

Funke Akindele, Nigerian movie star and Abdulrasheed Bello, her husband, also dazzled on the occasion of this year’s Valentine’s Day.
Akindele shared a loved-up footage of the pair showing different unique moments of their marriage as well as their kids.
“Happy Valentine’s Day darling. May the good Lord continue to bless our home. Amen. @jjcskillz,” she wrote.

Simi and Adekunle Gold were also not left out of the list of celebrities who marked this year’s Valentine’s Day.

Bolanle Ninalowo, a movie star, also celebrated the occasion with a lovely photo of himself and Bunmi, his wife.
He accompanied the photo with a post wherein he appreciated his wife for her support.
