On the now-viral flier, a picture of Hilda was shared with an inscription that she will allegedly be hosting a meet-and-greet in the federal capital territory (FCT) on June 24.

“A night to celebrate with the world record holder who thrilled the world with her culinary skills for 100 long hours. It is going to be an evening filled with fun and celebration, photos, live cooking, food tasting, interactive sessions and after party,” the purported flier reads.

“Ann’s Concepts presents an evening with Hilda Baci. Meet & Greet, Pictures, Live Cooking Food Tasting, Q&A, After Party on 24 June. Time 3pm. Entry Fee 25,000 only. tix.africa/hildabaci.

“Ann’s concept vibe. Vibe by Ann’s, 23 Ataraba street, Wuse 2, Abuja.”

Reacting to the post via her Twitter page, Hilda said she is not hosting any meet-and-greet in Abuja.

“Hi everyone, This is to inform everyone that I’m not doing any meet and greet in Abuja. I would also never ask anyone to pay for such. Thanks,” she wrote.

Born Hilda Bassey Effiong, the Akwa-Ibom native hit the limelight after setting a new world record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual — although still subject to confirmation by Guinness World Records.

The Nigerian cooked for 100 hours to beat the 87 hours 45 minutes record set by Lata Tondon, the Indian chef, in 2019.
