As expected, the show’s fourth week was not without controversies.

Here’s a recap of major events that happened last week at the BBNaija ‘Level Up’ house.

Level 1 and 2 merger

At the beginning of this year’s show, Biggie, in a surprise twist, divided the housemates into two different houses namely level 1 and level 2.

But on Sunday, the instructive voice behind the show announced that the two houses have been merged together.

Kess and Pharmsavi’s eviction

Another talking point for the fourth week was the eviction of Kess and Pharmsavi.

The pair were sent packing from the house during the live eviction show on Sunday after getting the lowest votes for the week.

This brings the total number of housemates evicted from the reality TV show so far to six.

End of HoH’s nomination immunity

Since the seventh edition of the show started, the head of house (HoH) has been responsible for putting other housemates up for possible eviction.

But on Sunday, Biggie announced that all the housemates would be involved in the nomination as from Monday immediately after the HoH game.

Biggie’s secret task to Deji

During Wednesday’s diary session, Biggie had handed Deji a secret mission to cause problems in the house by complaining about his colleagues in level 1.

He also instructed him to pack his bags and switch to level 2. Deji is a fake housemate, meaning he cannot win the show’s grand prize, even though he cannot be evicted.

Biggie had earlier given Modella, another fake housemate, the task of causing a rift among lovers in the house.

Fights and rising tempers

The show’s fourth week was characterised by several confrontations involving the housemates.

Adekunle and Sheggz almost got physical after engaging in a heated verbal exchange.

The pair were initially having a conversation with other housemates before the discussion quickly degenerated into an argument.

Both men began to throw derogatory words at each other, with Sheggz referring to Adekunle as “stupid”.

Chichi also nearly fought with Adekunle over her relationship with Deji before other housemates intervened.

Level 2 fails to break the HoH jinx

The Level 1 housemates have dominated the race for the much-coveted head of house (HoH) position since the show started.

They repeated the feat again in the fourth week with Eloswag emerging the HoH for the second time in four weeks.

The show’s third week saw the emergence of Adekunle as the HoH. Hermes had won the HoH title for week two, while Eloswag secured the position in week one.
