Harrison Okiri, Nigerian musician better known as Harrysong, has dismissed claims that he had twins with his ex-lover.

In 2017, reports had swirled that the musician welcomed a set of twins — boy and a girl — in Beverly Hills, California in the United States.

He was also said to have christened the babies Perez and Tare.

But in a post via his Instagram story on Saturday, the entertainer claimed his former lover lied about giving birth to the said twins to extort money from him.

He also called on the public to stop addressing him as father to twins, adding that “Daviva is my first child”.

“Addressing this issue. I am not baba twins or daddy Ejima. There was never any twins anywhere. That lady never gave birth. She lied and was eating my money. My first child is Daviva,” he wrote.

The ‘Reggae Blues’ crooner tied the knot with Alexer Peres Gopa, his lover, in March last year.

The pair welcomed their first child together in December.

He celebrated the baby’s arrival with ‘She Knows‘, a new single featuring YBNL stars, Olamide and Fireboy.

The singer has established himself as a popular name in the country’s music landscape since he came into the spotlight with release of ‘I’m In Love’ and ‘Taiye and Kehinde’, his two hit singles.
