Sheriff Oborevwori, the governor of Delta state, has appointed Harrysong, the singer, as an executive assistant on entertainment.
Harrysong shared the letter he received on his appointment via his Instagram page on Wednesday.
In an accompanying caption, the singer playfully requested to be addressed as “honourable” and thanked the governor for entrusting him with the position.
He also told the people of the state to anticipate a festival in March.
“Newly Appointed E.A (executive assistant). Entertainment. To the Executive Governor of Delta State RT Hon. Sheriff F.O.Oborevwori✈️🎙✅🙌😊,” he wrote.

Harrysong gained recognition in 2010 after the release of his two hit singles ‘I’m In Love’ and ‘Taiye & Kehinde’.
The singer started as a music director in the church but later released his tribute song to Nelson Mandela in 2012.
He is one of the prominent singers in Nigeria with his fusion of Afropop and dancehall styles.
He has received several awards and accolades for his craft.
