The reality TV star, via Instagram on Sunday, scorned actors whom she said are aware of Anuku’s rumoured mental illness, yet won’t help him.

A video had earlier surfaced and gone viral insinuating that the movie star had become mentally unstable.

In the disturbing video, the actor is seen dressed in tattered clothes while roaming the streets and soliloquizing.

Reacting to the footage, Shan George, the actress, debunked the claim, saying Anuku is “not insane”.

Anuku also clarified that the viral videos were from a movie set while stating he was in good health.

But in the post, however, Gifty Powers insisted that all was not well with the veteran movie star.

“It’s funny how the so-called celebrities post their luxuries on their page, yet they can’t afford to contribute something on behalf of Hanks Anuku,” the reality TV star wrote.

“The so-called multi-billionaire daughters and fathers, the ones married to upcoming politicians, the actresses who sleep with politicians, the actors who do the yahoo, the singers, the musicians. It’s a shame.

“Y’all can’t come out to support a colleague running madly on the streets. Well, it’s the world we live in. People sacrifice their souls to show off on social media and make youngsters feel their effort has been for nothing.

“And after hanging their dotty undies outside, they come on their page and write, ‘with God, all things are possible. Small girl, big God’ as their caption. Na thunder go fire all of Una. Fools in their 30s, 40s, etc.”

In October 2021, Anuku did mention he was working on a movie that sees him play a chief priest.
