Yvonne shared a picture of the octogenarian in her graduation gown while urging her followers to never give up on their dreams.

“I don’t normally post personal stuff on LinkedIn but couldn’t resist…. Today is an amazing day,” she wrote.

“My grandmother is graduating! She did her MBA (Master of Business Administration) and is graduating just shy of her 80th birthday!!!

“To say I am proud is again an understatement. Why did she put herself through such a huge undertaking??

“To let her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren know that if she can do, so can we all.”

TheCable Lifestyle had last year reported how Frederick Olaseinde, a 67-year-old Nigerian father, aced his first bachelor’s degree at Covenant University (CU), Ogun state after graduating with a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.52.

“I did Business Administration, having had four reasons to justify returning to school. I wanted to quench my thirst for education; to be current and relevant. At this age, I ought not to return to university,” the businessman said.

“The time I ought to have gotten educated, I was denied of it. Doing so now is me being restored. I haven’t had a university degree before. The other ones I had were the OND, Sandwich courses, and those of professional bodies.”
