Bunmi Akinnaanu, the Nigerian gospel singer, has appealed for divine healing as she battles a serious leg ailment.
The incident unfolded during a service at G.F David Ministries in Ibadan, where a video captured the ‘Omije Ojumi’ hitmaker seated with her leg stretched out on a chair, receiving prayer from a pastor.
An intravenous (IV) cannula was visible attached to her hand, underscoring the severity of her condition.
Addressing the congregation, the cleric revealed that the singer is suffering from a persistent bleeding in her leg, which he identified as a spiritual attack, calling it an “arrow”.
He prayed against what he termed the “spirit of death,” commanding it to leave her body.
“Don’t be shy, you will give your testimony. You arrow in this leg, I cast you out in the name of Jesus, and I command you now to come out of this leg,” the pastor declared.
“You spirit of death, I call you by name, and I command you to leave now. Get out of this body! I speak to that bone, body, tendon, and tissue, and I command you to hear the voice of the Lord. I speak to that bleeding to stop.”

While the precise nature of her medical condition remains unclear, the video has sparked widespread concern among her fans and the public.
Many have taken to social media to express their support and have organized prayer sessions for her recovery.
Akinnaanu, who began singing at the age of 10, left a career in banking to pursue music full-time.
She rose to prominence with her hit song “Omije Ojumi” and has become a household name in the Nigerian gospel music industry, releasing several beloved songs and albums over the years.
