Genevieve Nnaji, the ace Nollywood actress, has left her fans in shock after she unfollowed everyone on Instagram.
Nnaji, who has nearly 8.5 million followers on Instagram, has sparked a wave of reactions on social media after she decided to follow nobody in return.
It is understood that before the massive purge, the movie star was following the likes of Omotola, Rita Dominic, Uche Jombo, and Sola Sobowale.
Others included Stephanie Linus, Ini Edo, RMD, Tonto Dikeh, Jackie Appiah, Yvonne Nelson, Uzo Aduba, Phyno, Maraji, Uzodinma Iweala.
As of Friday morning, her Instagram page shows she currently follows no other accounts.
While the 42-year-old actress is yet to give any reason for her actions, her last post on the Facebook-owned platform was on January 2, when she wished her fans a Happy New Year.

With strings of awards and recognition, Nnaji has established herself as a household name in the country’s movie industry.
The Nollywood star gained prominence with her role as a child actor (8) in the then-popular television soap opera ‘Ripples’.
She has received several awards and nominations for her works — some of which include the Best Actress of the Year Award at the 2001 City People Awards and the Best Actress in a Leading Role Award at the 2005 AMAA awards.
Her movie, ‘Lionheart,’ was selected by the Nigerian Oscars Selection Committee (NOSC), as Nigeria’s submission for the best international feature film category of the 2020 Oscars.
It was the first film ever submitted to the Oscars by Nigeria.
