It appears that things are not smooth between celebrity couple and former Tinsel stars, Gbenro Ajibade and Osas Ighadaro.
The actor had, on Sunday, accused his wife of habitually neglecting their two-year-old daughter, Azariah Tiwatope Osarugue Ajibade, to party with friends.
“Who leaves their baby in the house and goes out to party with friends/events from 6pm to 5am? he wrote on Instagram.
“It is not the first, second, third and fourth time, the other night you slept out you sent our baby off with a stranger to drop her off at home with the nanny so you can be out all night.
“So quick to run out of the house n then not come back till the following morning, forgetting you be person mama even if nothing else means to you.
“I can forgive you for all the bullshit but between me and my child/children or being that responsible man that’s a no no.”
Gbenro claimed that he resorted to Instagram because efforts by family members to correct his wife actions had been futile.
“Since I’ve used both families to talk to you to no avail. You take this space/ app more seriously let’s d people out here ask you if you really ready for this journey if yes, you know what to do otherwise let me jump on the next flight to take my daughter and continue building her future for her out there which was the plan in the first place.”
Ajibade described his public call as a final warning while noting that marriage is not a “do or die affair”.
Although his wife has not responded to the comments, Bisola Aiyeola, former BBNaija housemate and actress, has defended her.
“Osas is a good mother. Her job sometimes requires late nights and now that he has posted this, I hope Instagram and Snapchat admin will give him parent of the year medal,” she commented on an Instagram post.
The couple got married in June 2015, but Ajibade currently lives alone in the United States. Fans first suspected discord between both parties in October 2018 when he didn’t post a social media message to her on her last birthday
He had also unfollowed and deleted Osas’ photos on his Instagram page.
