The annual award event, which recognises the best in black music from the UK and beyond, was held on Sunday night.

The ceremony returned as a live show at Coventry Building Society Arena for the first time since 2017.

For MOBOs, there were no awards in 2018 and 2019 and only a virtual ceremony in 2020.

Wizkid won the ‘Best African Act’ and ‘Best International Act’ as Dave, the UK rapper, won ‘Album of the Year’ after picking up the most MOBO nominations for ‘We’re All Alone in This Together’, his critically-acclaimed second album.
