‘Squid Game‘ has made history at the 2022 Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards by becoming the first non-English-language series and first Korean series to score a nomination.
The nominations for the 28th SAG Awards were announced on Wednesday.
The annual award event honours some of the year’s best television and film performances by actors.
The record-breaking Netflix’s blockbuster original show was nominated for four awards while Ridley Scott’s ‘House of Gucci’ and Jane Campion’s ‘Power of the Dog’ secured three nominations each.
Lady Gaga is nominated for ‘Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role’ over her role in ‘House of Gucci’.
The award ceremony will be simulcast live via TNT and TBS from The Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California at 8 pm EST on February 27.
