The Game of Thrones (GoT) prequel ‘House of the Dragon’ is among the winning entries at the 2023 Golden Globe Awards.

The 80th annual Golden Globe Awards took place on the night of January 10 in Beverly Hills, California.

The 2022 film ‘Banshees of Inisherin’ won three major prizes, including ‘Best Musical or Comedy’ film and ‘Best Screenplay’, as well as ‘Best Comedy Actor’ for its star Colin Farrell.

Steven Spielberg’s autobiographical ‘The Fabelmans’ also won big, scooping the award for the ‘Best Drama Film’ category.

The school-based comedy ‘Abbott Elementary’, the Game of Thrones prequel ‘House of the Dragon’, and the satirical dark comedy ‘The White Lotus’ were among the winners in the TV categories.

Also among the winners is ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’, the sequel to the original ‘Black Panther’ film.
