The Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality TV show has launched its 2024 edition themed ‘No Loose Guard!’.
The highly anticipated show commenced on Sunday night by unveiling 28 housemates paired up in a team of 14.
This edition will become the BBNaija’s ninth season.
The organisers say this year’s season promises “double drama, relationships, and huge competition”.
“With new twists and unknown housemates ready to become your new faves, this season promises to be one for the books,” they added.
“Expect shocking twists, explosive drama, and alliances that will keep you guessing.
“Biggie is shaking things up like never before, and you won’t want to miss a single moment.”
The show will run for 71 days and it is expected to end on October 6.
The winner of the 2024 season will go home with a cash prize of N100 million, which is N20 million short of last year’s prize.
Last year’s eighth season featured 20 former housemates from the show’s inception in 2006 through its seventh edition in 2022.
The season concluded on October 1, with Ilebaye Odiniya winning the grand prize.
Ilebaye took home N120 million worth of prizes.
