Eezee Tee, whose real name is Ezekiel Onyedikachukwu, was arraigned over alleged money laundering and dishonest conversion.

He is accused of laundering $340,000 and dishonestly converting funds from Chinwo’s digital platforms and events.

Chinwo also accused him of secretly replacing the original contract she signed in 2017 with a different one without her consent.

In his response, the music executive described the gospel singer’s claims as “lies from the pit of hell”.

In a recent Instagram video, the media personality revealed that Eezee Tee was invited by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to clarify discrepancies in the label’s accounts.

According to Edoho, a meeting was held between Chinwo’s team and Eezee Tee and they agreed to an account audit.

The TV host alleged that Eezee Tee still owed Chinwo some money from their contractual agreement.

Edoho claimed that the available facts show discrepancies in the accounts operated by Eezee Tee. He emphasized that two audits have been conducted, which revealed “discrepancies in the accounts”.

The media personality also mentioned that another artiste Judikay conducted her audit and “found discrepancies”.

“Non-Nigerians, especially Africans always believed Nigerians stick to narratives without facts. And I found this to be true. In the case of Mercy Chinwo and EeZee Tee Conceptz everybody is just using emotions no facts,” he said.

“I decided to wade into the matter to find solid facts. The facts that have not seen the light of the day. The first thing. Why is Mercy Chinwo avoiding audit? Her team is not avoiding audits. As a matter of fact, two audits were done on the 17th of February 2023 at the behest of Apostle Anslem. There was a mediation meeting that had Mercy Chinwo, her husband, Ezekiel from EeZee Tee Conceptz.

“And it was agreed at the meeting that audit would be handed over to a company. Two weeks after the assignment was given the company withdrew itself from the audit assignment because EeZee Tee Conceptz was not forthcoming with all the documents, the paper trail of all the transactions that took place so that we could know who owed what.

“At that time, Mercy Chinwo’s team took the matter to the EFCC. EFCC duly invited Ezekiel to its headquarters.

“The thing is, after another audit was done, it was found out that he owed her some money and had to pay. They did not coerce him. He had to pay two installments owed to Mercy. And he has not completed that amount. And they are saying that EFCC is torturing him…

“Judikay, another wonderful artiste, did her own audit and discrepancies were found.

“Let us be clear unless there are other facts that surface according to what I have, audits were performed and discrepancies were found.”
