The cause of the fire outbreak however remains unknown.
Aigbe’s post drew an outpouring of support from fans and colleagues, who offered condolences and well-wishes.
The fire incident occurred barely a few days to the premiere of her movie ‘Thinline’ in cinemas.
In January 2022, Mercy unveiled movie marketer Kazeem Adeoti as her husband much to the surprise of many.
The 46-year-old also recently revealed why she married Adeoti, saying their shared passion for the entertainment industry brought them together.
Aigbe also discussed the benefits of partnering with Adeoti, adding, “Together, we are building a production empire. I just felt I needed someone in the industry to collaborate with”.
Last year, the actress converted from Christianity to Islam. She said she reconsidered her religious beliefs because of her love for Adeoti.
