The organisers of the Best of Nollywood (BON) awards have announced that they would be hosting a dinner for winners that emerged from its 10th edition.

According to a statement released on Saturday and signed by Seunmanuel Faleye, director of media and publicity for the awards, the dinner has been scheduled for January.

“On the heels of the highly successful 10th edition of BON Awards, after a stellar outing at Ibadan organizers are already making plans to host winners that emerged to dinner in Lagos,” the statement read.

“BON Awards organizers have announced that in January 2019, they’ll host winners from their December awards to a modish dinner, with Senate President, Bukola Saraki and Opeyemi Agbaje, former Head of Department, Strategy, Entrepreneurship and Business Environment at Lagos Business School, delivering papers for the evening.

“Other speakers pinned to speak for the evening are Mr Yaw Nsarkoh, Executive Vice President, UNILEVER, Ghana-Nigeria and veteran Nollywood filmmaker and juror at the Oscars, Mr Femi Odugbemi.

“The evening promises to be a convergence of stakeholders from the Nigerian movie industry, corporate Nigeria and the government representatives.”

The 10th edition of the award, which held on December 13 at Kakanfo Inn in Ibadan, was hosted by Abiola Ajimobi, governor of Oyo state and his wife, Florence Ajimobi.
