Adesuwa Onyenokwe, media personality, has accused Biodun Fatoyinbo, senior pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), of sexually assaulting a pregnant woman.

The media personality made the claims during a recent interview on Arise TV.

She claimed that the victim in question and more others could not speak up for fear of the stigma that came with rape cases and because they were all married.

“There’s not a lot of cases that we could have brought out with what we found. There’s a woman who was pregnant for her husband at the time that this same pastor did rape her. That woman is still married to her husband. Can she ever come out to say that ‘Listen, this is what this man did to me?,” she asked.

“The man knows, the woman knows. She can’t because most of the young girls he’s done this to are married. If I came to you and say ‘hey, I was raped.’ How many men are like Timi Dakolo? And they’re going about, publicly saying it.”

Fatoyinbo has been enmeshed in a legal battle with Busola Dakolo, ever since the Nigerian celebrity photographer and wife to Timi Dakolo alleged that he had forcefully had carnal knowledge of her while she was a teenager.

Onyenokwe’s rape allegation against the COZA pastor also comes after Busola Olotu, a lawyer and former spiritual mentor of Fatoyinbo, claimed that she found out about the alleged rape incident for the first time in 2011.

In the interview with Arise TV, Olotu said Funmi Ayeni, Busola’s sister, had told her that the photographer was sexually assaulted by the COZA pastor.

“I have known Fatoyinbo and his wife for many years and I was like a spiritual mentor to him while he was in Ilorin. In 2011, Funmi Ayeni, my spiritual daughter told me that her younger sister, Busola, was raped by Fatoyinbo,” she said.

“I was shocked because I could not reconcile the allegations to the person I knew. But when I spoke to Busola on phone, I could feel her pain and trauma and I knew she was speaking the truth.

“Sometime after that, I had a dream and I saw Fatoyinbo in that dream in bed with a woman who was not his wife and I confronted him in the dream and he told me that God’s grace was protecting him. .

”After that, I went to meet his father in the Lord, Rev Oset, and told him about my dream and he said did it mean that Biodun hadn’t stopped what he was doing? It was then I knew that he had done similar things in the past.”

Emmanuel Oset, a presiding pastor of Champions’ Church, Ilorin, who used to be a spiritual father to Fatoyinbo, also likened the COZA pastor to the biblical Judas who, despite being loved, betrayed Jesus.
