Liquorose, the Big Brother Nigeria (BBNaija) season six runner-up, has received a brand new Mercedes Benz and the sum of N14.5 million as birthday gifts from her fans.
The fans also displayed her photos on billboards in major parts of Lagos to celebrate her birthday.
The dancer, whose real name is Roseline Afije, clocked 27 on Thursday.
In a now-viral video, Liquorose could be seen expressing her gratitude to her “huge” fans.
“The thought of coming together and saying let’s do this for this girl means a lot to me. Thank you guys so much, thank you,” she said.
“You guys are amazing. I have huge fans, the ones who constantly worry about me, care about me, they don’t want me to say the wrong and some even drag me just because they love me.”
The brand influencer also put out several stunning photos via her Instagram page to mark the occasion.
“Hopefully candles aren’t the only thing getting blown out tonight. It my birthday so you know I’m serving looks. Birthday candles aren’t the only thing getting lit tonight. Go showty, it’s my birthday. Aging like fine wine,” she wrote in a post accompanying the photos.
The reality TV star was one of the popular names during last year’s BBNaija edition tagged ‘Shine Ya Eye’.
