Femi Fani-Kayode, former aviation minister, has called out Toyin Lawani over her recent racy nun-inspired outfit.

The fashionista had sparked outrage over her controversial dress for the premiere of Prophetess‘, a movie by Niyi Akinmolayan, on Sunday.

Critics had described the outfit as an insult to Christianity while some Twitter users also claimed that such dress promotes immortality.

Joining the fray in a Twitter post on Tuesday, Fani-Kayode said the stylist’s choice of outfit “is anti-Christ, disgusting and totally unacceptable.”

The ex-minister also dismissed Lawani’s claim that such dress was simply a work of art, adding that it’s “ghetto rubbish.”

“Disrespectful, tasteless, tactless, shameless, bestial, blasphemous, heretical, disgusting, provocative, outrageous, anti-Christ and totally and completely unacceptable. This is not art: it is ghetto rubbish! I forgot to add that it is also evil!” he wrote.

Lawani had on Monday hit back at her critics, describing them as “hypocrites.”

“People dress like sexy nuns all day, for all sorts of events and halloween… yet, you’re all on my page crying and wailing like I killed someone in your family just because I’m Nigerian but if It’s Kim or your RiRi or Beyoncé now, you will be hearing ‘awwn, so hot, my role model’…” she had said.

“Bloody hypocrites, but behind closed door you’re all disgusting and doing nasty shit.”

Fani-Kayode has been in the news over ongoing tussle between him and Precious Chikwendu, his enstranged wife, for the custody of their four children since their marriage collapsed last year.
