Falz, the Nigerian rapper, has set social media abuzz after posting a picture of himself holding a baby on his Instagram page.
The photo, shared on Thursday, shows the baby facing away from the camera, leaving fans and celebrities curious about the child’s identity.
The post quickly garnered attention, with nearly 5000 comments flooding in from both fans and celebrities alike.
Foladele Ngadi, Falz’s sister, wrote, “Congrats, Falz! How did your mum take the news? I remember she was praying against baby mama on your last birthday”.
Funke Akindele, the Nigerian actress, also chimed in with a cryptic, “In a bit”.

Falz recently expressed his concerns about marriage. The 33-year-old revealed that he is unsure whether to publicise his future marital life or keep it private. He also shared that he has not had a romantic relationship since 2008.
In 2022, the songwriter said he had never been in love.
Falz, who rose to fame in 2009, is renowned for using his music to address societal issues and bad governance. Some of his popular tracks include ‘Wehdone Sir’, ‘Child of the World’, and ‘Talk’.
His impressive career has earned him multiple awards, including ‘Album of the Year’ at the 2016 City People Entertainment Awards.
Aside from his music career, Falz has also made a mark in Nollywood. He made his movie debut in ‘Couple of Days’ (2016).
