Fake housemates? What to know about BBNaija ‘wildcard’ twist

The Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) season six has introduced an interesting twist called the ‘wildcards’ into the reality show.

At the second launch of the ‘Shine Ya Eye’ edition on Sunday, Biggie said there are two wildcards in the house.

These are two fake housemates among the 22 ushered into the reality show. They are to be identified by their colleagues.

BBNaija housemates for each season should normally be 20 but 22 were announced to the surprise of the viewers.

The housemates will have to figure out who the cards are to get them evicted during the eviction show next Sunday.

As for fans of the show, Ebuka said viewers will know the wildcards during the diary session on Thursday at 3 pm.

Should the housemates fail to identify the wildcards, the fakes will remain and compete for the N90 million prize.

This way, fans are left to guessing. Noteworthy is that, if the wildcards remain in the game by Sunday, they will be given an exclusive power to nominate on Monday. This is the first twist on the ‘Shine Ya Eye’ house.

Housemates are expected to entertain fans of the show while engaging themselves in a fierce tussle for the prize.
